    1. Education

    2. Master of Science (MS) in Genetics and Plant Breeding
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University

    3. Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agriculture
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University

Training & Conference

  1. Attended seminar course "GPB 598" for 3 months.
  2. Extension Education field trip at Bogura Sadar for 5 days.

Research Interest

  1. Crop breeding through classical and cutting-edge breeding techniques.
  2. Functions of genes, the discovery of novel genes for crop improvement, and advancement of stress resilience in plants using genetic engineering.
  3. Biotic and abiotic stress responses on agricultural and horticultural plants (maize, wheat, rice, soybean, chili, potato, onion, asparagus, grape, etc.) in controlled and natural environments.
  4. Effects and functional pathways of exogenous molecules (e.g., spermidine, acetic acid, trehalose, ethanol, glutathione, H2O2, etc.), microorganisms (fungus), hormones andenzymes (e.g., salicylic acid, aminolaevulinic acid, spermidine) and their crosstalk in plants responses to biotic and abiotic stress (e.g., drought, salinity, waterlogging, heavy metal, andnutrient stresses).
