    1. Successfully completed the training course on NGO Aquaculture Extension Program Focused PRA held on January 4 to 9, 2003 organized by WorldFish Center, Bangladesh, conducted by PromPT.
    2. Successfully completed the training of trainers program on DSAP Strategy, Principle of Aquaculture, Integrated Agriculture Aquaculture, Training and Extension Methodology, Aquaculture Extension Program Focused PRA, Group Dynamics, Fish Nursery Management, Household Financial Management, Participatory Action learning and Whole Family Approach held on during 2001- 2005, organized by WorldFish Center, Bangladesh.
    3. Successfully completed the training course on development and financing of a Carp Hatchery held on April 25 to 27, 2003 organized by WorldFish Center, Bangladesh, conducted by BFRI.
    4. Four days training courses on “BDS Marketing Development Approach” held on 5-8June 2006 has been received from KATALYST, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
    5. Successfully completed the training course on Process Facilitation held on December02 to 04, 2006 organized by Intercooperation, Bangladesh, conducted byPromPT.
    6. Successfully completed the training course on Gender and Development held on December31, 2005 to January 02, 2006 organized by Intercooperation, Bangladesh, conducted byMedia Link.
    7. Three days training courses on “Right to information in Local Governance” held on 01-03June 2010 has been received from Intercooperation, Local Governance program, Dhaka, Bangladesh.


  • Conference/ Symposium

    1. Species suitability for small scale cage aquaculture in river ecosystem.
    2. Optimization of stocking density and dietary protein level for cage farming of Oreochromis niloticus in river ecosystem.

Research Interest

Research area on Fisheries, Aquaculture and fish breeding especially in indigenous fish species.Future research can be taken to explore the production and economics of fish farming in large scale cage culture in river ecosystem, water quality analysis, fish cultivation in different culture condition, socio economic aspects, marketing and so others in northern part of Bangladesh mainly in the districts of Chapainawabganj, Rajshahi, Noagaon. Natore and others which are included in Barind tract area.
