Research Interest

"I worked on a hybrid maize development team, evaluating 35 lines with 5 testers across two locations and three seasons to assess stability. My molecular work includes DNA extraction, PCR, and gel electrophoresis, along with data analysis. I also advanced sweet gourd breeding by conducting selfing for inbred lines and served as Principal Investigator on an innovation project to develop autotetraploid rice. Additionally, I contributed to salinity testing in rice."

  1. Development of Multi-Parent Advanced Generation Inter-cross (MAGIC) Mapping Population for QTL Analysis in Rice
  2. Combining ability and heterosis analyses for selected yield attributes in 7x7 diallel population of maize
  3. Elucidating the components of genetic variation and genetic parameters for selected quantitative attributes in F1 rice genotypes
